Evacuation Systems

Utilising radio frequency and/or cellular signals to form a network, our range of evacuation event hardware is simple to install, simple to manage, and simple to maintain.

Supported by a robust operating system, and optional smartphone app and web-based user portal. Each system is designed for your specific site needs.

Evacuation Trigger

Available with a radio frequency or cellular wireless network connection. Lightweight, easy to mount or move, and easy to use.

HOW IT WORKS:
  1. worker presses the silver button to trigger an evacuation alert
  2. lights indicate the alert has been sent and received
  3. all connected sirens sound using default system settings
  4. An evacuation message also displays on the Touchscreen Control Unit (TCU)
  5. if subscribed to the software, alerts are also sent to app users and nominated personnel
Can be used as part of an evacuation system, or evacuation + nurse call system. Also available as a standalone evacuation system (no TCU or software).

Evacuation Siren

Available with a radio frequency or cellular wireless network connection. Connected to mains power, easy to mount or move.

HOW IT WORKS:
  1. worker uses a trigger, Touchscreen Control Unit (TCU), or optional app to trigger an evacuation alert
  2. all connected sirens sound using default system settings
  3. sirens stop when evacuation ended (via trigger, app or TCU) or when the siren timeout setting is reached (customizable)
Can be used as part of an evacuation system, evacuation + nurse call system, or a standalone evacuation system (paired with at least one trigger).

Combined Evacuation Trigger + Siren

Available with a radio frequency or cellular wireless network connection. Lightweight, easy to mount or move, and easy to use.

HOW IT WORKS:
  1. worker presses the silver button to trigger an evacuation alert
  2. lights indicate the alert has been sent and received
  3. all connected sirens sound using default system settings
  4. An evacuation message also displays on the Touchscreen Control Unit (TCU)
  5. if subscribed to the software, alerts also sent to app users and nominated personnel
  6. sirens stop when evacuation ended (via trigger, app or TCU) or when the siren timeout setting is reached (customizable)
Can be used as part of an evacuation system, or evacuation + nurse call system. Also available as a standalone evacuation system (no TCU or software).

Combined Evacuation Siren + Nurse Call Trigger

Available with a radio frequency or cellular wireless network connection. Lightweight, easy to mount or move, and easy to use.

HOW IT WORKS:
  1. worker uses an evacuation trigger, app, or Touchscreen Control Unit (TCU) to trigger an evacuation alert
  2. all connected sirens sound using default system settings
  3. if subscribed to the software, alerts also sent to app users and nominated personnel
  4. sirens stop when evacuation ended (via trigger, app or TCU) or when the siren timeout setting is reached (customizable)
Note the trigger is for a medical event - it does not trigger the evacuation siren.

Used as part of an evacuation + nurse call system.

Touchscreen Control Unit

The touchscreen control unit (TCU) enables you to receive evacuation alerts, trigger an evacuation event, approve an evacuation event, test sirens, and view event logs for auditing and reporting.

It also allows you to manage your system on site. The TCU connects to the rest of the system using radio frequency networking, or via the cloud (when connected to the internet). Simply plug it into a power source, position devices, name them with a level and location, and it's ready to go.

HOW IT WORKS - TRIGGERED BY DEVICE:
  1. a worker triggers an evacuation alert from a connected trigger
  2. the alert is received by the TCU
  3. if there's no evacuation approval function all connected sirens sound
  4. if there is an evacuation approval function, users will be asked to acknowledge the evacuation event, which then cause all connected sirens to sound
  5. sirens stop when evacuation ended (via trigger, app or control panel) or when the siren timeout setting is reached (customizable)
HOW IT WORKS - TRIGGERED BY TCU:
  1. user presses the START button then selects EVACUATION
  2. evacuation is confirmed by pressing YES when prompted
  3. all connected sirens sound
  4. sirens stop when evacuation ended or when the siren timeout setting is reached (customizable)
If using in conjunction with the smartphone app and user portal, all information is transmitted in real time via the cloud.

Smoke Detector

Install these BLE smoke detectors in high risk areas where a fire could start unnoticed. Know immediately if smoke is detected whether you're on or off site.  Wireless and battery powered, these detectors can be installed or repositioned in seconds.

HOW IT WORKS:
  1. sensor is powered on then positioned within range of a BLE enabled Vanguard Wireless device
  2. System managers assigned it with a name (e.g. level 6, storage unit 1)
  3. if smoke is detected, an alert is sent to the closest BLE device, which then triggers an alert on the Touchscreen Control Unit (TCU), and optional smartphone app/SMS
  4. the alert can be escalated to a site evacuation
  5. all connected sirens sound using default system settings
Can be used as part of an evacuation system or evacuation + nurse call system.
